WHO IS BEHIND HORSE HUB ACADEMY?

Hi I'm Jessica and I have an endless passion, love and devotion for all things horses! 

I have my own mare called Vogue and I also have a loving husband and I am a mum of 2 young boys.

I also love helping others so much that I created Horse Hub Academy because I wanted to help people to learn all that I can share on owning horses, understand their horses and thrive on their journey of being new horse owners.

As a young, horse obsessed girl myself, I read everything I could get my hands on. Monthly horse magazines, text books and story books (this is before the rapid rise of social media and I couldn't use the internet very well). 

A brief version of my own journey starts with learning to ride at a riding school, then I was lucky enough to get my own pony. My family and I then joined Pony Club where I attend rally days and competed in gymkhanas and ODEs regularly. When I outgrew Pony Club, I began working at local riding schools and at the same time was owning and riding horses of my own. I have fond memories of horse riding holidays, living on a farm where we had a pet sheep, and making lots of horse friends where we just enjoyed riding and our horses.

It wasn't all happy days. There were many mistakes and some incredibly dangerous ones. I had to learn fast how to ride troublesome ponies, deal with kicking, biting, rearing, spinning and bolting horses. I cannot count the amount of times I have been reduced to tears owning horses! But this is me. Im all about keeping it real. 

But at 34, I still feel like that innocent, young horse-crazy girl every time I see my horse. 

I am here to help others on their horse journey in every shape and size. Whether its through riding school, pony club, owning, leasing or even just for the love of horses, myself & Horse Hub Academy is here for you.
